We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man has swung into theaters. Now playing!

This movie was bad. Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Dane DeHaan and Sally Field were great. Everyone else sucked and the villains were corny.

I've said this before, but the last scene of TASM 2 where Spidey is about to fight Rhino, it was a sad reminder that we could have gotten the CBM we deserved.

The fact that there were three villains in this movie proves Sony didn't learn from the mistakes of SM3. Because it's better than to churn out the same product over and over again rather than making improvements.

RHINO only had a bit part at the end anyway like prototype armor for Sinister Six I suppose :p

As much as I prefer the Raimi movies more, I wanna see how SS pans out... still rather Raimi come back like Singer did though!

It had it's flaws, but it was entertaining as hell. It was like watching a real life comicbook.

I enjoyed this movie and it had many redeeming qualities but it was kind of a mess. The relationship between Gwen and Peter was the best part. I liked how all the villains looked but their execution could have been better.

it was about what I expected it to be. meaning it was fun enough while it lasted but totally forgettable. it gave me some bad flashbacks to Batman Forever

I honestly think this movie could've been better but I enjoyed it.... I also think Harry's story had more importance than electros.

The villains were AWWWWWFUL.
No more articles about those crappy characters.
Aside from Spidey swinging & Gwen's death scene...movie is weak.

@dick
At least the Raimi films were fun,these "amazing" films are bland & very unlike the tone of Spider-Man's character.

I've watched this film twice now. I enjoyed it, for the most part, but I can see the flaws that everyone else is so upset about. I enjoyed the film anyway, but I am hoping for something much stronger and cohesive with the Sinister Six and the next Spidey film.
