'Electro' Rises In Another Goofy Deleted Scene From THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

Another extended scene from the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been released online, and it features some thankfully cut footage of another goofy supporting character before Electro awakens in the morgue. Hit the jump to check it out!

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore, Sally Field, and Chris Zylka, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released on DVD and Blu-ray later this month. Will you guys be picking up a copy? Me neither.

I feel that Josh should handle all TASM2 related articles.

Furthermore, I propose that the editors have a meeting and divide up the franchises to report on. Then, if they dislike the the franchise they report on or not, they bash the franchise with each article. hahahahahaha This would be great.

Ror could bash the MCU
Freshman could bash the DCCU
Josh can bash Spidey
Nails can bash X-Men
Everyone can bash the Fantastic Four

I liked the music in this movie. Hans Zimmer is amazing.
Wasn't a fan of the first movie's score though. This one was similar, but actually good. Not Zimmer's best work, but I do find myself playing it in my head from time to time.

The fist scene with Spidey free falling with his main theme gave me chills and fits the mood....other than that, it sucks.

The slavery is real for Spider-Man right now.

Referring to the first one, most notably the part where Spidey and Lizard are fighting in the highschool. The music in that scene felt tacked on; it sounded joyous rather than tense.

You know I don't mind these movies, but when you look at what Fox/Marvel and Disney/Marvel are doing, then you look at the Spider-Man movies. It's kind disappointing.

The editing and music was the worst in TASM1, but IMO that movie is still better than TASM2.

This movie was garbage. I don't know why web can't make a [frick]ing movie about Spiderman entertaining. Something about his style is just bland.

The one scene I liked though was the spider sense scene with Electro and the civilians.

I personally thought the editing in TASM2 was even worse. It did not flow whatsoever. It was like someone with ADD edited it.

The "best scene" was undoubtedly the airplanes on a crash course. So tense!

You should be more respectful towards Avi Arad's disability.

That deleted scene was horrible, though.

I officially think Spider-Man 3 is better than this movie.

Sony makes me hate being a Spidey fan.

"Another gooffy character..."

Oh please, tell me how the Raimi movies didn't had such characters in that that Mr. Ditkovich, or Bruce Campbell cameos or that old lady signing the Spider-Man theme in Spider-Man 2.

While I liked TASM 2, I still believe Spidey needs to come back to Marvel. Sony don't know what they are doing.
