We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

lmao [frick]ing goblin wings. I think it is safe to say they did not give a [frick] about this movie. The only reason they didn't go with their alternative spider-man costumes is because they weren't as marketable. They did some research and figured out they would sell more toys with a more traditional looking Spider-Man costume.

Green Goblin has yet to be delivered correctly in movie form.
Raimi films did it better. TASM2 Gobby is a joke.

If gobby has wings, it'd be awkward of both he and culture had wings and were in the sinister six together

I thought Goblin was solid in TASM2. Liked his apperance over Raimi's Goblin. I was pretty pumped for Fox as electro from the trailers but I actually think he might've been one of the worst parts. Fox did not do it for me. Anyone else think that Gwen's brother Phil is going to have a big part in the future as a possible villain or something? This might just be totally out there, but Venom maybe? They haven't introduced Eddie Brock at all and Flash wasn't even mentioned.

Gwen's brother just looked more than sad to me at the end. Looked kind of pissed in my opinion.

There were three versions of the fight scene. One had Goblin breaking Gwen's neck and dropping her, with Spider-Man losing it and beating him almost to death. One had Goblin stabbing Gwen and dropping her, she dies from her wounds and Spider-Man almost beats Goblin to death. The third version was the one we saw in the movie, Goblin was supposed to laugh at Gwen's dead body and be beaten almost to death.

The transformation was also supposed to be a lot longer, but parts had to be cut because of how gruesome it was.
