'Richard Parker' Returns In Officially Released Deleted Scene From THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

As if the movie itself wasn't already a big enough mess, an excerpt from a deleted scene on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 DVD and Blu-ray features the surprise return of Peter Parker's father. It's confusing and makes no sense, and you can check it out after the jump!

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore, Sally Field, and Chris Zylka, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released on DVD and Blu-ray later this month. Will you guys be picking up a copy? Me neither.

This one was by far the most pointless one. Glad it was cut. Great acting from Andrew though. It just wasn't needed.

Is this even for real? This movie was terrible enough as it is. I didn't think it could get much worse but this proves it.

I didn't think it was the greatest movie by any means, but I'm not quite sure why it's getting so much hate. I thought it was a solid comic book movie.

At first I thought you were gay for Josh, but then it turns out you're a girl. Made me laugh even harder. Good to have more girls here.

The only problem I didn't have with this movie was Garfield/Spidey. That bank heist beginning was great. I didn't like the Ferris Beuller showing up and kissing the girl/getting diploma. I turned to my GF and whispered "He's not supposed to be cool like that". But yeah HORRIBLE film. This was a cut up movie made by a long desk of people with bottles of water, notebooks, phones and assorted crap in front of them. I'm sure some charts and a few films were on display as well.

As disappointed as I am with the Spider-man movies lately, I can't fault Garfield for any of it. He IS a good actor, and a great Spider-man. He's just given some bad material to work with.

Anyway, this deleted scene was kind of stupid even in-universe, I mean sure, Richard Parker would be kind of cautious towards him, not just to avoid frightening him, but also because he doesn't want to blow it - yet at the same time, you've gotta turn your volume up to hear this guy. This isn't Roose Bolton, is it? No! So take charge, put some personality into it, some inflection, some emotion, and freaking SPEAK your lines.
