We're back with another early excerpt from Marvel's Spider-Man: No Way Home- The Art of the Movie which doesn't officially release until August 1. It looks as if a few delivery services have mailed out copies a tad bit early, and there are copies already floating out in the wild on social media.
Previously, The Amazing Spider-Man 2's Andrew Garfield discussed the possibility of his webhead returning to the MCU after his Peter Parker teamed up with Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In a new excerpt where Garfield is asked to pick who has the best Spider-Man costume among the three, Garfield selected himself.
"The eyes on mine are definitely the best," Garfield said about his suit. "The eye shape is just the most open and friendly and, I don't know, sweet. I would say, just practically my suit is the best, because I have zippers on my wrist so that I can get my hands out. You get more breaks. But none of the suits are that much fun to wear."
Do you agree with Garfield's assessment? If you're a veteran of the site, you'll recall that when Garfield's Spider-Man costume was first revealed, many fans complained that the texture of his first suit resembled a basketball.
These days, most fans are coming around to Garfield's way of thinking and agree that his costume- particularly the mask, is the best.
There's also the fact that Tom Holland's Spider-Man has donned several different costumes across his numerous MCU appearances. In the final moments of No Way Home, Holland's Peter Parker ditched his Stark Industries' armor and wore something more similar to the Spidey costume from the comics.
Sony Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal previously stated that a fourth Spider-Man film with Holland and Zendaya was in development but was currently paused due to the ongoing WGA strike. With the MCU leaning heavily into the multiverse concept, perhaps Maguire and Garfield will return to critique Holland's new homemade suit.
