UPDATE: Set Videos Of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Chase Scene & Bad Guys

Today, filming of a huge chase scene for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 took place on Main Street, in Rochester, New York. Watch as cops pursue an Oscorp truck being towed by a big rig. Looks like Spidey is going up against some mercenaries.

The best suit so far hands down! I do not think there is a single flaw in it. It is seemingly right out of the comic.

Suit looks great in these pics! Know why? Because it actually looks like there is muscle behind it.

it's gonna be weird watching this movie seeing buildings from my city in it. The convention center actually looks decent in these shots.

I guess Main & State does look kinda NYC-ish, if you squint...

Kinda cool. just not cool enough for me to miss work.

the only thing I don't like is because Im from the Roc and go to NYC multiple times a year, noticing what doesn't belong will be easier.

But if your like a lot of people that think NY state only consist of NYC and apple orchards, I guess it wont matter too much.

But I'll know and be thinking 'hey, thats the Crossroads Building!...in Rochester :( '

I'm LOVING all of the day time scenes. The best scene action sequence from the first movie was the school fight because you could actually see what was happening! Among other reasons too of course, but that definitely helps. Nighttime =/= more dramatic necessarily. (take the Avengers / TDKR rises final battles for example) Can't wait to see this all come together.

I love how all the ppl who liked the last suit have shutup and realized it was infact a shitsuit

Nothing beats the classic

@SpurBandit I don't think they were going for a dramatic look necessarily. I'm guessing Webb and Sony had to rely on night scenes because the shadowing helps hide the Lizard's rushed/ incomplete CGI and they decided to carry that aesthetic over to other scenes for the sake of consistency.

Other than that I agree night scenes don't equal more drama. I'm loving the day scenes.

bbiz20
bbiz20 - 4/30/2013, 1:51 PM
I really like the suit, but why only make it like that now? That is the classic bona-fide comic book suit. Why not make it like that in the first one? Because if the idea was to make it different and unique it sure as hell bares next to no resemblance to the suit in the origin.

Am i the only one who finds spidey's costume a little too colorful and baggy that looks almost like cosplay? And what's wrong with his boots in this picture?

M3T4LL0
M3T4LL0 - 4/30/2013, 3:00 PM

The suit keeps looking better and better. I just hope this one doesn't disappoint me like the first one did. And for the record, Foxx looks [frick]ing ridiculous.
