This is JUST his opinion on the matter so its not a big deal guys/gals. So what if he's not impressed; 90% of the people looking forward to this game certainly ARE impressed. That includes me.

I can see where you're coming from with your argument, and I'm not gonna insult you or anything, but a few things:

With respect, you're coming across a bit ignorant (don't mistake that for stupid or anything) in terms of how games are made and what not. Open world/Sandbox games can NOT be compared to the likes of linear titles such as Uncharted (I don't know what Witcher is). Linear titles have the privilege of having "Better" visuals/graphics. There's much less that needs to be processed and loaded, which means more time can be spent on visual detail and stuff. Uncharted, Witcher and GTA also run on completely different engines.

Saying this game looks "bland, uninventive and dated" is pure opinon BTW. I think this game looks stellar for what it is. I just think it's ignorant to think that all games should be on the same level as Uncharted(visually), especially when the games are completely different. IMO, GTA wasn't a great game because of its visuals, even when it came out it was not one of the best looking games out there (although the modded versions on PC are a big step up).

The "Web not sticking to surfaces" thing is also subjective. Most people don't look at Spidey games and base the games credibility on whether the webs stick to surfaces or not. (Hence Spider-man Shattered Dimensions) And I bet if you were to ask the developers why the webs are like that, they would say something along the lines of, "That really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, we are just here to make a fantastic Spider-man game".

I think I'll pass now that I've seen the swinging. What's the point of playing a Spider-man game if the movement mechanic makes you feel more like superman just making parabolic arcs in the sky?

your so right dude ... new york looks so BORING ... every building looks the same with no detail or distinction ... even the Raimi Spiderman games looked and played better than this ... still ... the movie will be AWESOME!!
