Harley Quinn Stares Into Your Soul In This Beautiful New Portrait From SUICIDE SQUAD

In a new profile with Allure Magazine, Alessandro Bertolazzi, the hair & makeup designer for Warner Bros.' Suicide Squad, detailed his process behind creating the signature looks for Harley Quinn and the rest of her colorful Task Force X. To achieve Quinn's look, Margot Robbie would need fresh custom tattoos applied to her body on a daily basis from head-to-toe, which would take about an hour to position. As for her hair, Bertolazzi wanted to make her pigtails stiff and rigid, and he achieved this by taking rubber stompers off the ends of walking canes, making holes in them, applying paint, and then using them to secure Robbie's hair in place. For her lips, Bertolazzi found a classic red color that in his words, was "not pink, not orangey."
