Despite one of the worst critical receptions of the year, Warner Bros.Suicide Squad is continuing to exceed expectations and should be crossing the $300 million mark worldwide at some point today, if it hasn't already. While it's been performing more than admirably in this relatively quiet August, a major drop is still expected this weekend, but it's being projected in the manageable 60-70% range and shouldn't reach the magnitude of the drop suffered by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice back in March.

A Twitter user, @MsHarleyQuinnHQ, has recently uploaded a ton of new portraits and promotional stills from the film's official companion guide - Suicide Squad: Behind The Scenes With The Worst Heroes Ever - and while, they are fairly Joker & Harley-centric, nearly everyone manages to get the spotlight at one point or another. We also get some background info on six members of the Squad, thanks to some very informative prison profiles. Check them out below:

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
