Entertainment Weekly has released a new behind-the-scenes image from David Ayer's Suicide Squad, featuring the director himself setting up all of the Joker's (Jared Leto) favorite toys. Take a look... [UPDATED]
With Entertainment Weekly's full-on coverage of Suicide Squad, we've gotten new story details and some insane new images of the Joker (Jared Leto) and Task Force X being bad. But now, photographer Clay Enos has taken over the EW official Instagram account and has decided to share new behind-the-scenes images. One of the images features director David Ayer setting up the Clown Prince of Crime's arsenal.
The scene being set up has been the only moment from all the Suicide Squad trailers and footage that have shown the Joker without his infamous "Damaged" tattoo while being surrounded by all his toys. However, in the new image, David Ayer takes Leto's place, offering us a better look at what the Joker considers his toys. There are even some tiny Easter eggs. Keep your eye out for a certain Harlequin.
Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5th, 2016.
It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, with Raymond Olubawale as King Shark, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Common as Monster T, and Adam Beach as Slipknot.
