As many fans are aware, James Gunn, the director of Marvel's
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 and
2 dealt with some controversy with Disney which ultimately ended in the director being able to also work for DC, bringing a new version of
The Suicide Squad to fans, and adding many of his favorite actors to the ensemble in the process.
Gunn is known for bringing his friends along to his films, such as Michael Rooker, Nathan Fillion, and even his brother, Sean Gunn - all of which are cast in
The Suicide Squad, a bit of knowledge fans can thank Gunn for after he released the full cast list earlier this month.
Now that production is underway, Gunn decided to share a photo of himself and some of the actors on the new set to his Twitter account. You can see Flula Borg, Daniella Melchior, David Dastmalchian, Nathan Fillion, Sean Gunn, and Mayling Ng along with the Director in the image below.
