The Version Of Batman From SUICIDE SQUAD Gets A Hot Toys Action Figure!

One of the biggest let downs in Suicide Squad was the brevity of Batman's cameo, but Hot Toys has still released a new action figure. Is it worth checking out and how does it differ from past versions?

Suicide Squad wasn't a Batman movie (obviously), but apart from Bruce Wayne's cameo for that tense exchange with Amanda Waller, the Caped Crusader didn't get much in the way of screen time in the 2016 release (a brief confrontation with Deadshot and a kiss with Harley Quinn) and he unfortunately never crossed paths with The Joker.

Despite that, Hot Toys is releasing a new action figure based on his likeness there and it's pretty cool! What makes this different to the version from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the massive cape, though that could be a nightmare to display for perfectionists! There are also various faces and gadgets, but whether that justifies the price tag obviously depends on how much you love Batman.

Being huge fans of Batman ourselves, we are pleased to announce the new Hot Toys 1/6th scale collectible figure of Batman from Suicide Squad as a limited edition item only available in selected markets. The movie-accurate figure is expertly crafted based on the Caped Crusader's appearance in the film, featuring a masked head sculpt with 3 interchangeable eye pieces and lower faces, a body that highlights Batman's toned, muscular physique, meticulously detailed Batsuit equipped with a specially tailored wired cape allowing Batman to make stylish poses, a range of detailed Batman gadgets and weapons, and a Suicide Squad-themed dynamic figure stand perfect for aerial poses. Now quickly swoop up this limited edition Batman collectible figure for your Hot Toys collection before it is gone!

@TheBeard - I agree. How do we rid this site of trolling when Josh specifically words his articles to insight trolling? There was so much bias in this post it hardly about the figure, but rather the article using the figure as an avenue to trash on this divisive movie. Beating a dead horse is right. Let's just ignore the troll bait and focus in on the content, which is the figure. Really, it's helping us to become "the bigger person" which will benefit us all in the long run.

I think Batman was used very well in Suicide Squad. Just enough to make a connection to the expanded universe while never becoming the focus of the movie. And the figure looks rad! I'd buy it for the underwater breather alone. This is perfect for collectors, THAT is why this figure exists Josh.

@TheBeard, @CHUCKisGOD - I agree. I just edited this one and an email has been sent to all of the editors to remind them that opinions should be saved for the last paragraph of the article (unless it's an editorial).

He didn't kiss her, he was trying.... oh wait you know it's not a kiss and specifically worded it like that so I'd come here to comment. You clever devil, you!

It's okay everyone, calm down. Flame bait extinguished. No trolling allowed. Let's focus back on the actual article content, which is the Batman figure, not the totally inappropriate opinions which cast a negative light on a movie which already had caused enough arguing.

The figure looks great! I like it.

@CHUCKisGOD - I got the first one (from Dawn of Justice), which sold out pretty quick, but I want a second one, so this will be a good opportunity.

@CMBAficionado - I love the Cape this one has and the different swappable options. That rebreather is the big sell for me. It makes Batman look so bad ass. I remember the first time we saw him in the SS trailer, I thought it was like a demon Batman or something.

If there was a real purge, the first thing I would try to steal is the batsuit.
