The Gang's All Here On These New SUICIDE SQUAD Character Portraits; Expect A Big Presence At SDCC

This batch of posters for David Ayer's Suicide Squad provide great new looks at the whole Task Force X team (minus Diablo and poor ol' Slipknot), as well as The Joker, Enchantress, and Amanda Waller.

We've seen lower quality versions of some of these before, but now the whole batch of Suicide Squad character portraits have found their way online. Plus, word is David Ayer's supervillian team-up flick is going to have a "major presence" at this year's San Diego Comic Con.

Apparently there will be cast appearances (though no details on who specifically yet), fan events, the return of Harley's Tattoo Parlor, and much more. In addition, part of the Hard Rock Hotel in the city's Gaslamp Quarter will be transformed into the Belle Reve Penitentiary.

Look for more information ahead of the convention's preview night on July 20.

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, with Raymond Olubawale as King Shark, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, and Adam Beach as Slipknot. Directed by David Ayer.

Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5, 2016.
