Since that first official image of Tyler Hoechlin as Superman dropped, fans have been debating the pros and cons of the new costume, and the man wearing it. We've had a couple of decent quality Supergirl set snaps since then that people seemed to warm to a bit more - but these latest ones courtesy of Just Jared and the best yet, and should get a good chunk of the naysayers on board.

In them, Hoechlin recreates what has become an iconic Superman moment as he charges forward in his Clark Kent guise, only to tear open his shirt and prepare to take flight as the Man of Steel.

Supergirl returns on Monday, October 10, 8/7c on The CW.
