After the release of the official teaser trailer, I decided to go back and look at what we've seen over at San Diego Comic Con this month. So in this article, I quickly go through the interesting elements of that footage! Since I haven't seen any analysis of the footage due to poor quality, I decided to take the matters into my own hand. Let's start!

[I couldn't embed the video, so you'll just have to check out the source for the improved footage!]

I'm going to go scene by scene, touching here and there real quickly because I know you don't want to waste time to figure out the details! I'll skip the known snowy/oil rig stuff and jump to the cool beans. Screencaps are a little blurry but you can still make out what they are:

This is the Kent Farm we all know and love. Love you Kansas.

This is one of the early showcases of Clark's powers as the woman says "My son was in that bus, he saw what Clark did." and we see a young Superman creepin' in the water!

This scene basically shows Kal-El's spaceship - which his father sent him in. The design is remarkably different than what we've seen in the media so far - in a good way in my opinion. The motifs around the object make it seem more...alien-esque?

I believe this is some kind of a token for the House of El that comes from the ship as Clark examines it.

In my honest opinion - This is the entrance of Man Of Steel's "Fortress of Solitude" due to the following scenes. It looks like a Kryptonian ship that was grounded on Earth for a long while and Clark will use it as his fortress. I believe his spaceship somehow leads him to the fortress.

This screen follows a scene of Clark and Jor-El facing each other in an alien looking ship [that's the only way I can describe it] Jor-El talks to Clark about his future and their legacy.

These 2 scenes are why I thought that spaceship is the Fortress. Clark opens the gates of the ship - to come out as the Superman we all know and love. Money shot right there, cape flowing, all buff and stuff. Goodie!

This scene shows the destruction of Krypton from what I can understand. It looks like the only sensible guess so far, so I'll leave that up to you.

This frame shows Jor-El, Kal-El and Lara-El. I'm guessing this is right before they send him off the orbit.

Our first blurry look at Zod and a very small portion of his armor.

Another money shot right here. Superman vs. a villain [I'm guessing Zod in his massive armor] It looks like a scene that jumped right out of the comics.

Superman getting... taken into custody by the U.S. Army. I don't think those handcuff's will be able to hold though.

Our first clear look at the Superman & Lois Lane pairing.

Military aiming their weaponry at who I'm guessing someone else than Superman. It's a little too blurry to decide.

This frame shows us a beaten up Superman who's sent flying into a wall. I actually dig it [PUN INTENDED!]

These 2 shots show Superman changing into his Clark Kent persona. The second picture proves that they are using the Glasses!

And the final shot of the footage is when Superman encounters the U.S. Army for the first time. Another shot that jumped right out of the comics.

--------------------------------------------------------------

So yes, that was a really quick analysis of what I thought was interesting from the SDCC footage. I hope you enjoyed it and I managed to feed your curiosity! I'd like to thank the Hypable website for the improved video.

Have a good day y'all!

I don't thing Amy Adams is ugly, but she certainly isn't that attractive and I don't think she looks like Lois Lane at all. Only disapointment there.

HA HA. Sorry that was a totally dick thing for me to say. But I sorry I dont care about what anyone going to say about this movie. Screw Batman and screw Iron Man and screw the others. This is the kind Daddy this is my all time favorite Superhero. Superman. He is the embodiment of a Superhero. Hell the term Superhero named after him. He the one who started it all. It bout time for him to have a kick ass movie and finally something that goes beyond Richard Donner's version. That a classic but now it time for something new. Bring on MOS. Their no other movie or Superhero movie I have looked forward to this this. Superman Returns I never got to excited about that because it looked good but Byran Singer was just to much in love with the Donner version and the whole thing about him leaving to find krypton never seemed right to me and also Singer saying that this was not a sequel to Superman the Movie but that it was a springboard and so was Superman 2. That made no since to me and it was dumb.

Amy Adams is beautiful and a terrific actress
I just think it wasn't the best casting choice.

She's 8 years older than Henry Cavill
and I really don't like the red hair for Lana (I know she originally had red hair in the comicbooks) but I love her iconic dark hair.

I hope by the end of the movie, she dyes it.
Gottostophate
Gottostophate - 7/23/2012, 5:08 AM
The whole hating Amy Adams cause she has red hair is just a fanboy dumb complaint in my eyes. Come on really. People are really going to give he crap cause her hair is red. Also Lois has had red hair in the comics before so it not nothing new. As long as she a hard noise reporter than I dont care. Also anyone think that if she cant pull off Lois Lane then i suggest you go watch The Fighter. Anyone who thought she was hot and not spunky well then i really dont know what to tell you. My guess is that your blind.

SuperDan89 - 7/23/2012, 5:24 AM
I think the Amy Adams hate will be like that of Anne Hathaway, which in the end was UNFOUNDED.
Super12
Super12 - 7/23/2012, 5:34 AM
First off its not Amy Adams fault that she has red hair in the movie, it's the directors choice and so it was obviously done intentionally. Not like they couldn't figure out how to dye her hair black. Just like how Perry White is black now, they're trying to take small steps to separate this movie from what everyone is used to seeing over and over again in a superman movie. I was disappointed at first but I'm sure when I see it I'll have no problem with it.

Seriously is anyone worried about this movie? Nolan/Snyder is the ultimate movie mash up (IMO).The mind that brought us inception and TDK trilogy teaming up with the eye that brought us 300,watchmen, and sucker punch! Say what you want about them but Nolan's movies are brilliant and Snyder's are visually stunning!

Fvkin hell.

I'm not even going to discuss looks, because beauty is subjective. I happen to find Amy beautiful.

But people are saying they're "disappointed" with her being Lois Lane. Amy Adams. A 3 time Oscar nominated actress.

Gotta love comic book fans. /facepalms

What if Amy Adams isn't Lois Lane & we are getting another Nolan-esq twist?!! That could be Lana Lang he is kissing. We might get introduced to Lois once he gets to the Daily Planet at the end of the movie! It looks like they are taking elements from Superman: Secret origin & Birthright...
