It's one thing to give Harvey Dent blonde hair, it's a whole other ball of wax to have a non-brunette Lois Lane.

Ha! Remember when Emma Stone was first cast in Spiderman? Everyone assumed she'd be playing Mary Jane because she was a redhead......Maybe Lois just dyed her hair.....

What the heck? I thought this movie was going for a "realistic feel". come on sure people might be able to suspend their belief that a man can fly but full service gas? At a 7-11 no less??? Come on thats just going too far

Anyway, I think Adams is a great match personality-wise for Lois, wheras Bowsorth had no personality.
I really couldn't give a monkeys about her hair.. unless it was ginger, that's always just plain wrong.

Who cares about the hair.

I find it funny how a lot of people here were perfectly fine with the drastic change done to Perry White such as changing his entire race, yet when it comes to something as minor as the hair color for Lois, everyone is up in arms about it. Hey at least Lois WAS a redhead in the comics one time...as for Perry White's change that was never in the comics.

Here's the redhead Lois...oh and she was a blonde.

Just think of Amy as being the redhead Lois in the green-dress on this cover and it's all good.


Amy will be a fine Lois Lane. She's a great actress and she has REAL passion for the character. That's all I ask out of my Lois Lane. This version of Lois in the film is a redhead...obviously there's a reason for it and only Snyder knows WHY. He may just be trying to serve us a Superman mythology that is more diversified as opposed to the same o'l garden-variety we've been spoon-fed for the past oh...30 or so years of Superman in film.

I'm fine with this. A redheaded Lois may just be what this film needs to really be different and set itself apart from everything else before it.

Anything no matter how dire or unorthodox it may seem in this film, will still...for ME...be better than this. I never want the franchise to ever go back to this shit here-

@LP4 People were fine with Perry/Barry White purely out of fear of looking politically incorrect. If Jimmy Olson's character was gay they might act the same. There is a trend to cast for "equal opportunity" reasons over what the best match is for the character. Currently politicsl correctness doesn't mob mentality doesnt protect say, blondes. Though maybe at some point it will be given all the blonde jokes people maybe considered hairests
