Yesterday I brought you the first video from the Superman: Man of Steel green screen shoot, and today I am happy to bring you another, much longer, more action packed video.

This time we see Cavill getting pumped up and then filing the scene just before the steel work falls - there is a lot of special effect flashing in this video too. Finally we see Superman rescuing the workers at the end. Enjoy!

BEWARE: THERE IS A NASTY WORD ABOUT 6 SECONDS IN... BAD MAN...

Man Of Steel, starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Julia Ormond, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne with Christopher Meloni and Harry Lennix, the reboot is slated for theaters June 14th, 2013!

On second thought after watching the whole video, He's obviously NOT Holding up the chopper pad. More so just pumping up for the scene. Probably just helping locals. Now I feel kind of douchey for leaving my first comment. LOL

Still CAN NOT WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE!

It's WAY to early for a trailer. MOS comes out in June 2013. Which is more than a year and a half away

Some of you guys are far to hard on Routh. He didn't play Superman...he played Christopher Reeve playing Superman. If you watch Superman Returns with that mind set you'll likely see that he did a terrific job with the role he was given and directed to play. If you don't like the movie blame the director, not Routh. Routh played his role as Christopher Reeve playing Superman perfectly.

Henry Cav-El is going to be the best Superman, me thinks. :D

@KNIGHT300 I'd add that the suit was made of a thicker material and didn't have padding (yes, Cavill's has padding. If not to add size, to add definition thru the fabric)

Man, I miss the days I could do pull ups without my shoulder popping out... :(

@TheQuestion Why he's shirtless? Have you seen who's the director for this movie? Dude has a hard-on for shirtless guys...

after 3 articles of pictures from this shoot, and now 2 videos. I don't really care about this green screen copter shot. Boring, go back to showing me some action pictures of him in supes suit.

Perhaps I'm missing something: am I to understand Cavill doing chin-ups qualifies as "action packed?"

@nowtheresBATman dude, Routh's suit was made with a thick ass fabric, also he didn't have any padding. That's why ROuth didn't have as much definition showing thru the fabric...

rbfn04 - 10/28/2011, 8:14 PM
@nowtheresaBATman I'm not even defending Routh, just stating the obvious. Cavills muscle wouldn't show though Routh's suit either.

And when I say padded, again, I don't mean they added size (tho they did ad triceps and thigh muscles) but to make the muscle and veins show through the fabric.

Cavill in Routh's suit and without padding wouldn't look as ripped as he does in the lighter fabric of MOS's suit with some padding under it...
