Perhaps that smile on Superman´s face is the reflect of his emotion on his inagural flight as his superhero journey. The world has missed you Kal El. We have tremendous expectations on this film, Bring it on!!

In all the Superman films, anyone think it's quite odd he never takes his parents out on one single flight... anywhere?... I mean, you'd think that would be the second thing you'd do right? After finding out you can fly.

Not to mention the fact that both his old parents could have heart problems and it's a recipe for disaster.

Amy Adams will give a great performance as Lois Lane and shut up a lot of people. It's the acting and making us believe she s Lois, not what color hair she has. Superman is in the house!!

Scorpion8125 well played chap. at least a few people here have a pair. I see all the mindless sheep are fine with this old hag as lois lane. probably the same non-comic bood readers who loved iron man 3 !

Is that really lana lang's mom ??

Sorry but lois lane shoud be kate upton hot for the most powerful man on the planet to be interested.

just like trouble with the curve I did not believe a young guy attractive x-ball player like justin timberlake would be interested in the old had amy adams
same as the man of steel.

I dont think it would be hard to come up with a hot lois lane in her late 20's maybe hayley atwell ? now that is a fox bitches , I mean come on !! the man of steel has got to have some curves to look at.

Lois looks kinda butch in that photo, but I think Amy Adams just might be able to pull off the Lois Lane character. As long as it's better than Kate Bosworth, should be good.

@FIRG... I know it's not ideal to take someone up that high but I'm just saying he could have flown them around the farm at night or something. Nothing up so high where he'd kill them on accident... lol.

@scorpion

She only plays ditsy characters. I think that's a bit unfair. Her role in "The Fighter" is practically spot on for Lois Lane. She was smart, spunky, feisty and didn't take crap from the men or women... and that's just one of her many serious roles... she's got 4 Oscar noms for her not-so ditsy roles. I think Amy will be just fine. We can always think of someone better looking for a role, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better actress than Amy. The real questions will be how well written is her character, and regardless of her performance, will people be open to a different interpretation of Lois? I haven't liked any of the movie versions yet. Kidder in the first Superman was close for most of the movie, but too "awe struck" at times. Durance in Smallville was gorgeous and with the exception of some lame writing was pretty close to the comics, but they made her a little too headstrong and a little too naive.

And when you really think about it, most of the really talented actresses in Hollywood right now are their mid 30's, 40's and beyond. Almost every name I've heard on this website for Lois has been nearly the same age. Unfortunately their is a huge gap in Hollywood right now. The great actors are older, the great looking actors are young and not so good at acting. I think that some people are unhappy with Amy's casting and the age thing is just something to nitpick. If she looked more like the comics no-one would care if she was 38 or 48.
