POLL: Which Superhero Fight Scene Do You Think Was The Best Of 2013's Comic Book Movies?

Each of this year's major superhero movies (Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, The Wolverine, Kick-Ass 2 and Thor: The Dark World) ended with a big fight between the titular heroes and main villains. Which do you think was best? Here's your chance to decide!

Overall, 2013 has been a pretty great year for superhero movies, although the debate over which was best still rages on. However, what about one specific moment in each? All of these movies mentioned above obviously feature several fight sequences, and they all vary in quality, but we've kept it simply by narrowing it down to the FINAL battles between the lead heroes and villains. They are after all what the film builds up to and fans have high expectations for what they should contain. So, which do you think was best? Here's your chance to decide!

Iron Man vs. "The Mandarin"

The entire final act of Iron Man 3 is really one big action sequence as Tony Stark's "Iron Legion" heads into battle against Aldrich Killian's enhanced Extremis soldiers. However, when Pepper Potts seemingly falls to her death as a result of Killian's actions, it comes down to Iron Man against the man who then reveals himself to be the one true Mandarin (instead of, you know, Trevor).

Superman vs. General Zod

So, this one is easily the most controversial fight on this list, mainly due to the huge amount of destruction which occurred in Metropolis as a result of Superman's battle with Zod and the fact that he later stops him once and for all by killing him with his heat vision. When it comes to truly bringing the comics to life on the big screen, is it possible to top this Easter egg filled slugfest?

Wolverine vs. Silver Samurai

Wolverine's final battle against the gigantic robotic Silver Samurai wasn't loved by all, and perhaps not helped by the fact that it followed the beautifully shot showdown with Shingen. Logan faces off against the man he believed dead when the elderly Yashida (who he saved in WWII) decides to try to steal his healing factor. In a shock twist, Wolverine's adamantium claws are severed!

Kick-Ass/Hit-Girl vs. The Mother F*cker/Mother Russia

Did Kick-Ass 2 live up to the greatness of its predecessor? And did the changes made to this final battle from the comic book series help or hurt the adaptation? That's a debate which still rages on, but in this frantic final battle, both Dave and Mindy get a measure of revenge on The Mother F*cker and his hired help, even if it does end with a pretty silly pratfall into a tank containing a shark!

Thor vs. Malekith

Just as Thor pit the titular God of Thunder against the Destroyer in the unusual setting of New Mexico, Alan Taylor's sequel switched the usual American city location seen in these movies for London. What followed was a battle between Thor and Malekith which saw them fly through different dimensions and even included a fair bit of the now trademark Marvel humour.
