See the Man of Steel face his most formidable foe yet in The Death of Superman, a movie which is out now on Digital Download, DVD, and Blu-ray! To celebrate the release, we are giving YOU the chance to win a copy on Blu-ray and it really couldn't be easier to enter!

The Death of Superman ultimately finds Superman in a fight to the finish when the Man of Steel becomes the only hero who can stand in the way of the monstrous creature Doomsday and his unstoppable rampage of destruction. As the inaugural film in the DC Universe Movies series, Superman Doomsday told an abridged version of "The Death Of Superman," DC Comics’ landmark 1992-93 comic.

However, with a runtime of 75 minutes, the film focused on a core, singular storyline. The new, animated The Death of Superman, the first of a two-part film experience that will conclude with Reign of the Supermen in early 2019, restores many of the moments and characters that fans hold dear to their hearts. Watch the incredible trailer for the movie here:

Great movie.

Pros:
Superman feels like superman
Lois lane was great
It cares about smaller characters
Well written, dialogue was believable rather than other animated dc films.
Doomsday was a great villain.
Justice league felt warm.
Great fights.

Cons:
Funeral is busted over too quick
Bit too much lex for my taste.
I thought supermans kill in doomsday was a bit better and more epic.

Of course my opinions means shit to anyone.

So they made Superman: Doomsday, Batman v. Superman, and now The Death of Superman.... can we stop adapting this story now? Is it finally out of DC's system?

I finally got the chance to watch the movie this weekend. Pretty good movie, had me almost emotional watching Superman die, this coming from a guy who hasn't liked the New 52 movies.

It's amazing how WB animation made a better Death of Superman movie than Snyder ever could.

Best DC animated since Gods and Monsters (and Young Justice). Fighting scenes were out of this world, and definitely never seen in CB animation before. It was also heartfelt, and we finally get a Lois who is Lois. A really good movie.
