We all know the geniuses behind Man of Steel will make an epic movie. Zack Snyder has yet to make a movie that didn't make me say wow and Nolan's stories always catch my interest. With an actor of Henry Cavill's caliber on board and Zack Snyder continuously making great casting decision, I doubt that this movie will be a bad one, but just in case they need a little push I'll offer them some input.

1.) DON'T [frick] WITH THE SUIT!!!

Taking away Supes' briefs is like taking away Batman's cowl. It's as much a part of the character as the character himself. The only people who want it gone are people who think it's not 'cool' or 'realistic'. That's apposed to what? Spiderman tight one piece or any other superheroes corny outfit? For those who say it's not realistic, even Nolan had to change up Batman's get up because there's no way in hell that a man can fight crime without some kind of armor to protect him. He'd be dead in a day. Superman's briefs don't bother anyone, leave them be. You can turn the briefs in to boxer-shorts, but he still needs his undies on the outside.

(If someone can give me a valid reason to loose the briefs, I'll change my stance on it, but as of now. Shut up...)

2.) Give us an origin story

This movie is for a younger audience. It's there time to get acquainted with the big guy. It's not for people who were around when Superman: The movie came out. For the Donner-era people, you have five, I'm counting Superman Returns because it wasn't made for a modern audience, movies to enjoy. Without an origin story, you're asking people to go back and watch those dated Reeve and Cain movies/TV shows or Smallville which doesn't follow the continuity AT ALL. I know a lot of you just want to see Superman punch Doomsday and be happy, but that's a bad idea. There's no character development, no emotion, it's just a punch flick and you'd miss out on Superman's humanity if you did that. Give us a Superman: Birthright with Brainiac instead of holograms and street thugs.

3.) Give us Sexy Lexy!!!

Not Hackman/Spacey's campfest, give us Clancy Brown/Rosenbaum Luthor. I want Lex to be a multi-billion dollar business man who has a secret hate for Superman and think he's hindering progress and human evolution. He doesn't have to be the main villain, he shouldn't be the main villain, but he should be involved. The way Nolan used the mob in both Batman Begins and TDK is how Lex should be used.

4.) Give Superman a challenge

I've said no to Doomsday and yes to Luthor, but I don't want Luthor as the main villain. Superman needs someone he can mess up. I, for one, would love to see Brainiac finally make an appearance on the big screen. If they use him the way the animated series used Brainiac it would make for great cinema. Superman, after growing up on Earth by himself, meets a stranger from another world who offers to tell him about Krypton only for Superman to find out that Brainiac destroyed Krypton and he wants to do the same to Earth. Superman and Brainiac fight it out and cause a boat load of collateral damage and light up the screen like never before.

5.) Give Clark Kent a challenge

Too many times in movies and TV shows Clark Kent has always been portrayed as merely a weak facade for Superman to hide behind. He's a pulitzer award winning investigative journalist. It's time to make Clark Kent as interesting as Superman. If you limit him to nothing, he'll be a nothing. Keep in mind that the best Clark Kents have been Cain and Welling who portray Clark as a shy, yet normal man. None of that gee-wilikers crap. Just make Clark Kent interesting and relatable and give him a job to do.

I'm sure Nolan and Snyder will wow us with their masterpiece. In fact, I'd bet my freedom on it.
