Recently, the trades revealed that British Actresses Alice Eve, Rosamund Pike, and German actress Diane Kruger were front-runners for a mystery role in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot. And while it was said not to be Lois Lane, the folks over at Latino Review have landed a scoop, affirming that character's appearance in the film, and also who these actresses are fighting for.

"Lois Lane WILL be in the film. The character these lovely actresses have come out for is no other than a Kryptonion villainess who is going by the name of URSA."

Bold words. You may recall that Ursa first appeared in the original Superman: The Movie and it's sequel, portrayed by British actress Sarah Douglas. And while General Zod was also included in those films, could this indicate that he'd make an appearance in the reboot, despite Snyder previously debunking the possibility?

In her first appearance, Ursa was one of General Zod's minions who attempted to conquer Krypton in 1978's Superman: The Movie. Jor-El sentenced Ursa, Zod and Non to the Phantom Zone, and they escaped following a nuclear detonation in space. Ursa and the others set upon Earth, where they found themselves endowed with the same powers as Superman. Ursa abused her powers for evil, targeting the puny (especially male) earthlings for her amusement.

Anyhow, if true, which actress would you prefer portraying the villainous Kryptonian, alongside Henry Cavill, Mid-December when Superman: The Man Of Steel releases?
