Blu-ray Details & Release Date For TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS Unveiled
Paramount Home Media Distribution has announced the upcoming 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, & DVD release date & special features for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows. Come take a look!
Despite being better received than its predecessor, Paramount Pictures' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows only managed to earn just around $236 million at the worldwide box office, which is a little less than half of the first installment's final sum. It's a little tough to say what exactly led to this dip in performance between the two, but being released a week after 20th Century Fox's eagerly awaited X-Men sequel X-Men: Apocalypse probably didn't help its cause. Also, the previous film was able to benefit from a box office run in a relatively dry August & September of 2014 where it only saw major competition in the form of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
Earlier today, Paramount Home Media Distribution issued a press release, officially announcing the upcoming home video release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows. The Dave Green-directed feature is set to arrive on Digital HD on September 6 and will hit 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD two weeks later on September 20.
They also unveiled the full list of special features, which include over 40 minutes of awesome bonus content. The Blu-ray Combo Pack will also come with reversible Turtle Masks in all four colors, meaning you'll be able to cosplay as your favorite Ninja Turtle in just a few short weeks time!
