Movie Web.com has the first look at the sewer lair from the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film set to hit theatres early next year. The sewer lair is the home of the turtles and has been featured in multiple battles in the comics, TV shows and films. The sewer lair is under construction and will be completed within the following days. In a film that is taking a lot of liberties to the source material, it's good to have a lair that looks identical to the classic lair from the comics.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (formerly known as Ninja Turtles) is an upcoming 2014 American action film based on the franchise of the same name. A reboot of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film series, the film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman and stars Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Noel Fisher, Danny Woodburn and Will Arnett. The film was announced shortly before Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Peter Laird sold the rights to the franchise to Nickelodeon in 2009. The film is to be produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Michael Bay's production company Platinum Dunes, and distributed by Paramount Pictures.

I'm going to agree with @ThePresidentGaming. That one was sweet. Best live action one was Secret of the ooze though.

I'm also going to agree with everyone else that @BoatEggs is a douche.

Wouldn't it be more convenient to you know, film in an actual sewer to give it a more realistic vibe instead of creating one from scratch?

hmmm what is the purpose of Boateggs? Eggs and boating do not mix. trust me. perhaps Landeggs would be a more useful name. Boateggs is now Landeggs from now on, or Seasickness, since that's what he gives me. ;)

People want a realistic sewer in a movie that contains walking and talking turtles who are ninjas. Really? This whole realistic shit has [frick]ed people up. Let me guess people want Star Wars to be realistic too, realism FTW.

Not a huge TMNT fan so i'll have to wait for some actual footage and the reviews before I decide whether or not to watch it on its second weekend of release.
