I'm just bummed out they didn't focus a little more on Shredder and his origin, and there was no mention of Hamato Yoshi.

*SPOILER ALERT*

The movie is a good film but it was missing a few things the original honored correctly. In my opinion the original TMNT was more involved with Ninjitsu and Martial Arts than the newest version. The foot soldiers were more dynamic and their ninja skills was believable. The foot soldiers were a match to the turtles. In the newest film the foot was more military terrorists than Ninjas.

Their was something about the original that was more humorous and teenage than the newest version. However, the newest film had better CGI, but it was missing the fun and interwoven past connection of Shredder and Splinter that the original possess. I think they could have incorporated that and Hamato Yoshi into the script.

In the newest film Vern Fenwick was just a fodder character that made no sense whatsoever. He's just this guy who happens to be there. Should have kept his character to a minimum. Casey Jones would have been more interesting with that screen time.

This feature basically highlights the best thing about the movie: The turtles

When they aren't onscreen, the film plods along with little to care about. So I think it's to the filmmakers credit that they really make the brothers shine, and we want to see more of them.
