After being left out of the action in the first go-round, Casey Jones finally made his way back to the big screen this past June in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows to lend a helping hand to April O'Neil and his turtle brethren. This time around, the long-time TMNT ally was portrayed by Stephen Amell, who currently stars as the Emerald Archer on the CW's superhero drama Arrow, and we have a fun new featurette from the upcoming Blu-ray & Digital HD release with Amell sharing behind-the-scenes details about his take on the fan-favorite character. Check it out below:

Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo are back to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O'Neil and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones. After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater threat with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.

Bebop and Rocksteady stole this movie.

Just caught the movie, and it was actually pretty fun. Between the first and this one, they've been getting a lot right surprisingly as far as the character interactions and such. Having said that, there's still room for improvement. (I wish to hell they left Krang's robot head intact.) Either way though, Casey Jones was fairly forgettable as a character. He was involved in some cool action scenes though, so I'm not complaining. I'd gladly watch another of these movies.

@MosquitoFarmer - I was shocked in theatres that they changed Krang's head! They nailed it in the trailer.

@CaptDeadpool -
I really don't understand why they did this. I'm assuming someone got wise and did it for the trailer to boost fan sales, but I just don't get why they would go with the exhaust vent and no mouth. It's not the type of thing that needs to be justified. It'd have been that much more satisfying. Really stupid choice.

I loved this movie! It was hands down the closest to the original cartoon of any other TMNT film before it. Was far from perfect, but very enjoyable. And as one of the last few Arrow fans left, I liked Amell as a new different take on Casey Jones

@CaptDeadpool - That looks so fake. Give me the Henson puppets anytime.

@DevarikaWoulf - lol I have this conversation with my buddy all the time. The Henson suits were great for their time but cmon they have not aged well. The CGI in the new movies is actually pretty good. I personally like the new style for this series of movies, I'm sure they will eventually reboot with an all new look then too.

I guess I'm the only person who didn't like the 80s cartoon

Not the greatest film but I laughed a lot and enjoyed it. Main gripe with it was underutilizing Shredder.
The end credits theme song was pretty awesome too. 80s cartoon theme remixed w ninja rap!
