New Promo Image Of Michael Bay's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

We actually saw this promo image a few days ago, but it was of a lower-resolution and the image itself was miniscule. Get a much better look at the Michael Bay-produced TMNT.

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES directed by Jonathan Liebesman ("Wrath of the Titans"), and produced by Michael Bay ("The Rock"). The script was written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, based on characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The cast includes: Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Will Arnett as Vernon and William Fichtner as Shredder. It lands in theaters August 8, 2014.

I just wish Megan Fox wasn't the biggest actor in this. That's pretty sad if you ask me. The only face they have tied to this is an over-entitled no talent actress. If this succeeds, I'll be surprised.

Exactly. The "outfits" they're wearing reflect their personality. I love it.

For a fan-art piece would be very nice.
For a live-action movie though, it's not cool. Not cool at all.
Nickelodeon's current tv series is doing fine. I 'll stick with that.
Though i 'll give it a chance when more footage will come...

I would like the designs it they all weren't so overcomplicated.

Give each of them a little bit of personal flair but keep it simple.

I like Donatello's look. It's interesting to see what all those gadgets will do on his adventures, with him being the genius and all.

The fact that Splinter is the one that made the turtles doesn't ring well with me. I don't know how a lot of people are suddenly so happy with this. They should have just made another animated film. The last animated film was great

I still have an issue with the notion that "heroes are created"...so they "created" the TMNTs.
CimJerrey
CimJerrey - 3/28/2014, 4:02 PM
What i don't get is that, why did they make the turles so big. I would have liked to see a really cut physique, like what they did in the amazing spiderman. But i guess were having bodybuilders after a long bulk as our teenagers...

Even tho the 2007 movie was sort of a flop, i still liked the physique of them, and in live action it would look great.

But now we get these giant juicing 16 year old's

BatmanFTW
BatmanFTW - 3/28/2014, 4:06 PM
@Ranger14 A lot of people have been saying that, but honestly, to me that makes no sense. If you're out to "make heroes", why would you use turtles? I think more likely is that they were attempting to make some sort of super soldier and the ooze was some sort of mistake or byproduct that accidentally came in contact with the turtles. But that's just my thoughts
KRYPTONIANSON
KRYPTONIANSON - 3/28/2014, 4:08 PM
Ranger, Shredder is clearly referring to the ooze. How is this not obvious to you people??? Take off the Bay hate filters and use your head. They are giving the ooze a backstory is all. It was likely engineered by Shredder to cause genetic mutations likely for muscle enhancement to be used on soldiers etc, hence the "heroes are created." The turtles will be a freak accident (the ooze falls out of a truck into the street, drips into a sewer…something of the sort). Shredder did not frankenstein the turtles to life so chill out. Shredder seems to be a Ra's Al Ghul type of character in that he wants to rid city scum while taking control of the city.
