Original April O'Neil Judith Hoag Cut From TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS

Judith Hoag, who played April O'Neil in 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was cut from the theatrical version of Dave Green's Out of the Shadows. Could there be an extended cut in the works?

Set photos during Teenage Mutant Ninja's Turtles: Out of the Shadowson location shoot in NYC revealed that Megan Fox's April O'Neil would  share screen time with the original April O'Neil from the 1990 live-action film, Judith Hoag.  Details on Hoag's role were never revealed but cryptic tweets  last May pretty much confirmed Hoag's cameo and encounter with the Turtles.  Perhaps her character will show up in deleted scenes or an extended cut?

Teenage Mutant Ninja's Turtles: Out of the Shadows is expected to narrowly edge out X-Men: Apocalypse for the #1 spot at the domestic box office this weekend but is currently tracking to gross only half of the 2014 film's $65 million weekend haul.

Starring Megan Fox, Stephen Amell, Johnny Knoxville, Tony Shalhoub, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Brian Tee, Will Arnett, Gary Anthony Williams, and WWE Superstar Sheamus, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows hits US theaters today.  David Green (Earth to Echo) directs from a script written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec.
