Shooting Locations For TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 Revealed

With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 set to start filming this next month, the Mayor of New York City reveals that that the next installment of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will film in New York and Buffalo! Hit the jump for more details!

With Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film earning $477.2M at the global box office, the second film is set to hit theaters June 13, 2016. According to Paramount and the Mayor of NYC, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel will begin filming in New York and Buffalo. $70 million dollars will be spent in total for filming, and from that 70 million dollars, $63 million will be spent in New York City alone. Whoever was a fan of the first TMNT film, should find this news pleasing, the Mayor of NYC is certainly looking forward to it. “We welcome ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’ to New York City, and look forward to the many jobs and tens of millions of jobs this will bring to our local economy.” No plot details were released for the film thus far, but you should definitely expect to see appearances from not only the Shredder, but Bebop and RockSteady. I love, love TMNT. I watch the Nickelodeon show, try to collect the IDW comics, have their 80s theme as a ring tone, own Out of the Shadows game, own the first two live-action movies and the animated movie, etc but...

...this movie here was pure shit! Only thing that kept me entertained was Mikey.

You're not missing much. It was terrible. I watched it when it leaked on the internet. Was a terrible film that had that Michael Bay taint smeared all over it.

The TMNT movie from 1990 was far superior.

The Turtles killed it last summer especially Mikey. Noel Fisher did awesome in that. I would like to see (hear) Tony as Splinter as well.
