"The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is directed by Jonathan Liebesman. It stars Megan Fox, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, Whoopi Goldberg and opens August 8.

Nothing really new on the Turtles, getting a Transformers feel to this where the Turtles are second to the human element

Haha I love that last scene. They have their personality perfect IMO, I have a feeling this movie might actually be pretty good. I can't wait. I also have a feeling a big marketing push is about to happen.

The Turtles will definitely be the main characters. Even in the comics and Tv shows or movies, they usually have a strong human companion (April by example) by their side.

I saw one explosion and another scene of april running, great new footage, but in all seriousness im dreading this film, just based on the director, this better not be like transformers, where april is more of a main character then the turtles, i mean for [frick] sake shes in more of the trailer then they are, thats not a good sign

What I find interesting is that he character Karai is also in this movie. She is the daughter of shredders maybe this White shredder isn't actually THE shredder. Maybe it's the whole batman begins Ras al Ghul all over again...

All you people complaining about not enough turtles need to remember that theses are just teaser trailers and the CGI is still being polished. We'll probably get a full trailer with all the turtles by the end of April.

I think Guardians will be in a bit of trouble since this movi3 comes out a week after. Guardians will definitely be the better movie but I think people downplay how much more popular tmnt is than guardians. The 2012 series is great and parents that grew up on the 80's and 2003 show will take their kids to see it.

The guardians trailer is at 15 million views on YouTube
Tmnt surpassed that with 16 million in just two days...
