TMNT: New Critics TV Spot Pulls A Few More Positive Quotes

The last critics spot for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot only used one quote, but now that some more reviews are up online they have a few more options! The movie currently sits at 44% on Rotten Tomatoes, which isn't that bad...right?

"The way people have been talking about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, you'd think Michael Bay directed it. After seeing it, you may wish he had. I did."

It's less sad than the critics spot with the one quote, I'll give it that. But it still doesn't do much for me.

And sorry, the GOTG critics spot with Rocket's "that is true" and "that is also true" is probably my favourite ever. Although the new "exclusively in that order" one is pretty nice as well. :D

Jollem, you can keep an eye on the RT score and take critics' opinions on movies on board without being a "drone". They're just movie fans like all of us at the end of the day..granted some are pickier than others, but there's this weird misconception that they actively want to dislike movies, and it just isn't true (though there are exceptions). I would never let a critic decide on whether I was gonna see a movie if I thought it looked good and I will be seeing this) , but that doesn't mean it isn't a nice feeling when a film you're looking forward to is a critical hit..like GOTG was.

I love how you guys crap on Rotten Tomatoes when it goes against a movie you want to love. But when it goes with you, you use it to prove it's a good movie. And Law Abiding Citizen was a terrible movie. That's why it has a low rating.

TMNT will end up with a low rating. It might have entertaining moments but we all honestly know it will be a bad movie.

"critics" are always gonna hype up marvel studios movies"

Eh, no..that's not how it works, trust me. You really think "the critics" are this big club that meet and decide what they're going to like and dislike? They're just people, movie fans with different opinions like everyone else, the only difference is they get paid to write about film and would, generally, have a pretty wide range of info and knowledge about them. Marvel movies generally go over well with the majority of them because...generally Marvel make bloody good movies! I read reviews not for them to tell me what to think or even influence it, but because there are a handful of them that my own personal taste would normally gel with and I respect their opinion. That's it.

I am sure some critics are bought off just like the members of congress, but no way in hell is there a conspiracy that critics are hyping up Marvel movies.
