Tom Hiddleston In Talks For THE CROW
The Wrap report that the fan-favorite star of Thor and The Avengers may just be about to add another comic book character to his resume, as he is in early talks to play the lead role of Eric Draven in Relativity Media'a reimagining of The Crow!
This is big news for fans of both Hiddleston and James O'Barr's classic character. The Wrap reckon the Avengers actor is in talks to star as Eric Draven in Spanish filmmaker F. Javier Gutierrez's (Before the Fall) reboot/make/imagining of The Crow for Relativity Media. Apparently Hiddleston has met with the movie's producers, and even sent them photos of a homemade makeup test he did, with official test expected to take place over the next few days. The original movie starring the late Brandon Lee is rightly seen as a modern classic by many, but it did deviate from source material in a few significant areas. Will this new version stick closer to the comic or go off in a different direction again? Cliff Dorfman (Warrior) wrote the script, and production is tentatively scheduled to begin this fall. What do you think of this casting guys?
