It was revealed earlier this year that executive producer Marc Guggenheim tapped to set the stage for what's to come in season three of Arrow in a comic book series, while Andrew Kreisberg would pen The Flash: Zero Year, a story which takes place between the pilot and the first season's second episode. Below are the solicitation details for the second issues of each along with new promo art feature the characters. Which is your favourite? Share your thoughts below!

Barry Allen and the CCPD investigate the murder of a man who appears to have been killed by snakes! But what’s the connection to last issue’s freakishly strong bank robber? And who is the mysterious Mr. Bliss?

Looks great, but Grant Gustin should really start putting on more muscle for next season. And why can't they stop making Oliver so damn serious? Give the guy a goatee already!

First, I can't stand the electricity effect they've given to the Flash over the years!!! Second, that image really overdoes it!!

Arrow looks pretty cool.

Awesome! DC's television projects are REALLY kicking butt so far... and these promo images are pretty damn slick!

I can't WAIT to see where season three of Arrow goes... but The Flash is my must-watch show of the season! Bring it ON!!!

Also: yes, Barry is skinny (he IS a runner, not a martial artist, after all-- lean makes more sense than bulky), and Oliver is more serious than he is in the books. But these are hardly huge complaints, given the quality of the stories we're getting with them!

And for God's sake, the stupidest thing in the WORLD they could give Ollie is a goatee! It's always been ridiculous that Green Arrow could run around in broad daylight with a Van Dyke goatee, and NO ONE would notice the ridiculous resemblance between him and Oliver Queen, world-famous billionaire. Facial hair on a masked superhero is idiotic. So I'm glad they're steering clear of that one...

Explains Oliver's skills. He's aiming at a guy in front of him and another on his top left, maybe on some stairs.

That Gustin dude's face is so feminine, they should've just made The Flash a chick.
Why not? Marvel is doing stuff like that in the comics.

DC is murdering it on television! Hopefully the movies are just as good (which would make them classics).

I've always thought Ollie should wear a fake beard in costume to add another layer of disguise. Then you could have the iconic Green Arrow look and still keep it believable.

Even though his suit looks like another character I think they got the feel of him down and kept his newer design with the mask. When he runs it looks like they animated a comic book page.
