When Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team find out Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) has been kidnapped, they form an uneasy alliance with his sister, Lisa (guest star Peyton List). However, Barry feels double-crossed when he finds out Snart is working with his father, Lewis Snart (guest star Michael Ironside) on a heist. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) is faced with a difficult decision. John Showalter directed the episode written by Julian Meiojas & Katherine Walczak.

I think at the point Snart can make his own that's really the only explanation. In the sizzle reel there's a scene of Barry getting shot in the head and I thought it was Earth 2 Barry but after these photos I'm not so sure. The shows been outstanding from episode one with only one bad episode so far.

Excited to see Barry, Jay, Wally, Arrow, Firestorm and whoever else they can muster up beat Zooms ass.

@jessepostal Don't do that, Capt. Cold is an importan character for the Flash's mythos. But they should do the ''cold field'' so that people stop complaining about Flash been defeated over and over by Cold. Or think about the ''zero absolute'' like the krypntonite of Flash xD.

I notice papa cold is pointing a gun at Leonard in one of those pictures. I'm guessing he's blackmailed both him and Barry into doing a robbery. Anyway, count me as one of the people who actually really likes Miller's Snart. He comes off as such magnificent troll. Can't wait to see more of him.

Please! No more Joker. He's a terribly lame character and had more than enough screen time in season one. Batman should have no trouble dealing with a man with absolutely no fighting skills, muscle, or technology...even an army. Please DC...invest in more interesting characters.

Seriously, no one acts like that or laughs so hysterically or hops, while he shoots a gun, or talks and moves theatrically as if he knows he's being watched. NO ONE. It's SOOOOOO hammy.

Cold told the Flash that he knows how to make the gun, after taking it apart and putting it back together again dozens (or hundreds) of times.

The reason why Flash struggles against Captain Cold, is because the gun is supposed to emit a very very low temperature. the idea is that is makes molecules more dense or some similar pseudo science shit. if Barry gets too close to snart, he'll lose his speed. Doesn't really explain why Barry can't just disarm Heatwave though.

Wentworth Miller is to this show what Manu Bennett was to Arrow. I stand by that statement. Excellent portrayal of a comic book villain. He's not afraid to go all out and play to the cheap seats. Miller is highly under rated.

Not a fan of the Cold family, never understood how Barry can't just knock all their lights out in the blink of an eye. Hopefully we see some more Zoom action. and yes Cold Puns are about go out of control.

Kinda hoping they do an episode focusing on Jay with an alternate opening ala ST Enterprise In a Mirror Darkly. So it's be like watching an episode of The Flash if we lived in earth 2.
