Check Out The Epic Battle Between THE FLASH And Captain Cold/Heat Wave In Full

This past Tuesday, the Scarlet Speedster (as he was dubbed by Captain Cold) engaged in an epic battle which was easily as good as many of the ones we've seen on the big screen. Hit the jump to check out the five minute fight scene between The Flash and his Rogues after the jump...

We've seen a lot of awesome battles in both Arrow and The Flash, but the latter continues to take it to the next level with impressive CGI heavy sequences such as the one below. In it we get a Prison Break reunion of sorts as Wentworth Miller's Captain Cold and Dominic Purcell's Heat Wave try to take down the Fastest Man Alive. It's a lot of fun, and if you're not already watching The Flash, this will hopefully convince you to start! What did you guys think of "Revenge of the Rogues"?

WENTWORTH MILLER AND DOMINIC PURCELL (“PRISON BREAK”) TEAM UP AGAINAS CAPTAIN COLD AND HEAT WAVE CHALLENGE THE FLASH TO AN EPIC BATTLE —Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) returns to Central City with a newhotheaded partner in tow – Mick Rory AKA Heat Wave (guest star Dominic Purcell). The duo planto steal a multi-million dollar painting, but Cold has another agenda while in town – to set a trap forThe Flash. Snart and Mick kidnap someone close to The Flash and threaten to kill them unless TheFlash shows up for a battle of fire and ice. Barry tells Joe (Jesse L. Martin) he isn’t sure he shouldtake on Snart again after the casualties that happened the last time they fought. Meanwhile, Barryasks Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to help himdouble his training efforts so he’s ready for the Reverse Flash when he returns to Central City. Iris(Candice Patton) deals with the aftermath of Barry’s confession, and Cisco makes the CCPD a newshield. Nick Copus directed the episode written by Geoff Johns & Kai Yu Wu.

Yeah, when they were walking down that dark street toward Flash and Cold called him the Scarlet Speedster...I sat up straight with a smile.

The other scene I liked was when Harrison Wells came out of the dark and said to Barry "I'd like to think I'm not your enemy..."

I like the Flash show a lot, But,,,,,,,, BUT,,, BBBUUUUUTTTTTTTT,,,
Wasn't Heat Wave a little too over the top? I mean that dudes a good actor and I just saw him acting like a retarded Hothead… and don't get me wrong, I get he's supposed to be a hot head, but that was little kid tv show hot head… Not Flash CW series quality hot head I had hoped for… I could see this in Arrow, But Flash? I mean come on bro, Act a little like you've done a serious hot head drama before..

Ok go ahead and hate that comment…

Dialog is horrible. Reminds me of Batman and Robin.

That episode was soooooooooo awful, but I really enjoyed Purcell's scenery chewing. He was the lone bright spot.

Also, what an overly complex way to take them out. Could have literally just snatched the guns out of their hands at super speed. Who wrights this shit?

The only thing I disliked is that there was seemingly no reason Flash couldn't just literally punch both of them, or take their guns away before they could do anything.

I mean he passed right by them several times. He could easily do that and as shown, the cold and heat gun didn't seem to have a huge effect on him. I mean even if they hit him with their guns he wouldn't die.

Spectacular fight, but he really could have one very easily.

Still I loved how iconic both of the villains looked and how they were portrayed.

I liked it that they were just simple "bad guys" instead of being "kinda good bad guys" we get most of the time.

Everything @ckal said.

This Flash is among the lamest, woosiest "super" heroes ever.

This show is really campy/cartoony at times, but at least its fun. Though I think they could do A LOT better

Great episode and great use of his powers. Loved when he ran up the building and jumped down.

Finally caught up with all the Flash episodes and there's one reason I watch it and one reason only: Harrison Wells and the Reverse Flash. That plot line has me pretty riveted. Beyond that and Grant Gustin as Barry the show is not very good IMO. There are just too many cringeworthy moments - far worse than anything I've ever seen on AOS. I like Joe but I cannot stand Iris. Eddie's all right. Cisco's growing on me. Snart is really good but Heatwave is a too over the top and not believable. The battle from this last episode was ridiculously lame. @ckal pretty much summarized my reasons for feeling this way.

Fun episode, but the people running this show don't comprehend the power of the Flash. He sould have disarmed, disassembled the guns, and placed 1000 punches in both of their faces before either pulled a trigger.

Heres a few ideas I personally would like to see if Captain Cold and/or Heatwave were in a film:

For Captain Cold I think his suit should be a high tech, arctic survival suit. Still having the classic hood and eyewear, but his face completely covered by special insulation. I only say this because absolute zero and exposed skin dont mix. The suit would be a compliment to his weapon, seeing how even when not being fired it gives off his "cold field" that slows Barry down. As for heatwave, stick to his classic white/orange fireproof suit but instead of a gun take a note from the recent New 52 Heatwave. Have a furnace/reactor on the chest with flamethrowers mounted on his wrists

Anyway just a little wishful thinking :)

This thread proves to me that comic book fans are literally the worst.

Amazing fight and fantastic episode.

I feel like half the people didn't watch episode.

The cops couldn't shoot them because they had a hostage held in an undisclosed location. Also, when there's a fast superhero out there who the villains are specifically asking for, it's probably best to leave it to that. Especially when the Flash wasn't known to be a hero at that point.

The Flash is a beginner here and punching a non meta human in the face would probably do more than severe damage. And grabbing their guns? I'm sure the villains aren't holding them with their pinkies.

And jesus christ, it's a [frick]ing comic book show. Have the people attacking read a Flash comic?
