The Flash (Grant Gustin) stops a robbery but the culprits get away after shooting a guard, and The Flash chooses to save the man instead of following the criminals. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) shows Barry a book of suspects and Barry identifies Leonard Snart (guest star Wentworth Miller, “Prison Break”) as the leader of the group. While investigating the case, Barry gets a surprise visit from an old friend – Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards, “Arrow”), who heard about his new abilities and came to check them out for herself. She joins him at S.T.A.R. Labs to help stop Snart after it’s revealed that Snart his gotten his hands on a stolen “cold gun,” which could kill The Flash. Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) is furious when he finds out that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) built the cold gun without telling anyone and now it’s missing. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) is getting the silent treatment from Joe because of her relationship with Eddie (Rick Cosnett). Finally, The Flash and Captain Cold have an epic confrontation. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Goff Johns & Kai Yu Wu (#104).

Well at least now we know when we're going to see that kiss between Barry and Felicity! It should be interesting to see her reaction to the young forensic scientist's new powers, and based on what we've been hearing recently from those involved with both Arrow and The Flash, this will be the first of many similar crossovers between characters from Starling and Central City. Thoughts?

Why does Felicity know? Secret identities mean so little here.

Hope the next ep of Arrow opens with the Barry-Oliver scene.

Wouldn't make sense to leave it out.

"[...], which could kill The Flash."

Despite his rapid cellular regeneration and the heat his body is constantly producing? So four episodes in and his team already knows all of Barrys limitations? He could very well survive being frozen, even thawing himself up without external heat. -> This synopsis most certainly lacks a "probably" there.

I don't understand why these heroes are falling for Felicity in the first place.

I'm into men, so I can't quite relate, but the character Felicity is one of the peeps I would love to have an evening out drinking. She would learn to play around with her ambigous slips of tongue instead of correcting herself the moment she realizes vocalizing something inproper again, though.

Either kill Felicity or bring her to The Flash permanently. I'm tired of this Olicity crap

Are there no other women in thus universe besides Felicity? So in this world the Atom, the Flash,Green Arrow all want to bang her and then I guess so will Night Wing Booster Gold and Hal Jordan...whenever they show up.

By the way: Where are the manly but openly gay main characters? Not only in cbms/cbtvs, but generally in scifi/fantasy? (The one and only I could think of, would be the openly bisexual Captain Jack Harkness...) If a character in movies/television is gay, he's usually portraied as the queer type. This stereotype may include the peeps most vocal about their sexual orientation, but is far away from reality as is. We're simply not living in the sixties anymore! The openly lesbian female counterpart, on the other hand, is represented quite regularly, though.

I'm tired of the term "Olicity." It's something 14 year old girls use.

@TheBaroness89 hopefully Firestorm doesn't, because continuity relaunches be damned it would be really creepy. And I agree. I really want Oliver to focus on Laurel.

I love Felicity, but she doesn't have to be written with every character in possession of a penis. I didn't even notice she was being written with Oliver until the S2 finale, and that was the most peaceful ignorance I've ever experienced.

LOVING the crossovers between the 2 seasons. Was a pleasant surprise seeing Barry Allan show up for that brief moment in Arrow (and Vice Versa)

Are you serious?????

Being a homo is about as far from being a MAN as you can get.

"Being a homo is about as far from being a MAN as you can get."

This misconception of non gay people, born out of the extrovert queer lifestyle as the loudest, most visible part of gay community and a club scene strongly, more than often only catering for these "sisters" type of gays (, mostly due to economical reasons or simply being of the queer lifestyle themselves, ) are the main reasons, why there are so few places around for us "other gay men" to meet one another. If you're really into men because they are, well, men through and through, then femalelike accentuations and body language tends to be no more and less than an effective mood kill. At least spoken from my own subjective experience.
