'Green Arrow' (Yes, We Said Green) And 'Hawkgirl' Mentioned In Future Filled Clip From THE FLASH

A new clip has been released from tonight's episode of The Flash which sees Barry Allen discover that mysterious newspaper from 2024. It's packed full of Easter Eggs about the future of this world, not to mention a huge reveal about who the Scarlet Speedster ends up marrying...

"The Trap" - Barry (Grant Gustin), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) set a trap for Wells (Tom Cavanagh). Cisco uses himself as prey which puts him in grave danger. Meanwhile, Eddie (Rick Cosnett) makes a decision regarding Iris (Candice Patton), which leaves Joe a bit unsettled. Steve Shill directed the episode written by Alison Schapker & Brooke Eikmeier.

Well, there's a lot of interesting details in the clip above, that's for sure. For starters, we see that Green Arrow, The Atom, and Hawkgirl (who is going to be introduced in the upcoming Arrow/The Flash spinoff) are all protecting Starling City between them, while the future Barry Allen and Iris West are a married couple! Who knows how much of what's in the newspaper will come to pass - Reverse-Flash may have inadvertently created a new timeline - but here's hoping this means "The Arrow" will become "Green Arrow" soon. As always, share your thoughts and theories below!
