We found out that cameras are now rolling on The Flash in The UK earlier today, and director Andy Muschietti followed up the announcement with a first look at the official title logo for the Scarlet Speedster's first solo big-screen outing, which will see Ezra Miller return as Barry Allen.
Now, THR reports that Warner Bros. has enlisted Mortal Kombat composer Benjamin Wallfisch, who has previoulsy worked with Muschietti on both It movies, to score the film. Wallfisch has also composed the scores for the likes of Shazam!, The Invisible Man, Hidden Figures and A Cure For Wellness.
Christina Hodson wrote the The Flash's script, with Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco producing, and Marianne Jenkins on board as executive producer. Plot details are still under wraps, but the story is expected to be at least partially influenced by the Flashpoint comic book arc.
Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will (hopefully) return as their respective takes on Bruce Wayne/Batman, and we recently found out that the movie would also introduce Sasha Calle as the DCEU's new Supergirl.
Kiersey Clemons will reprise the role of Iris West, and Zack Snyder's Justice League star Ray Fisher recently indicated that there was still a chance he could appear as Cyborg. Maribel Verdu and Ron Livingston are also on board as Barry's parents.
The Flash is set to race into theaters on November 4, 2022.
