THE FLASH: Has Gal Gadot Confirmed Her Return As Wonder Woman In The Upcoming DC Movie?

We've been hearing rumblings that The Flash movie will essentially reboot the DC Extended Universe, though some familiar faces from the past will stick around. Clearly, Wonder Woman will be among them.

It was recently reported that The Flash is going to erase Zack Snyder's DC movies from continuity, which is no great surprise when Warner Bros. is clearly desperate to move on from that era of storytelling. Ultimately, those movies are still there for fans to enjoy, and a Flashpoint-style reset might be for the best if it means the studio finally establishes an MCU-style shared universe.

We've been hearing rumblings for a while now that Gal Gadot will make an appearance in The Flash as Wonder Woman (just because continuity is being reset, it doesn't mean every actor is being switched out), and that's seemingly been confirmed today. Sharing a month-by-month recap of 2021, the actress revealed a photo from August of herself in the makeup chair as Diana Prince.

If rumours of a new Justice League being formed are accurate, then Wonder Woman being part of the team is a given. However, there are other roles she could play in the movie, and we wouldn't be surprised if something happens to set the stage for Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 3

The Flash - which is set to be released on November 4 - presents Warner Bros. with a unique opportunity to set up a new universe and tease future movies and TV shows. You have to imagine they'll capitalize, so the pressure is on filmmaker Andy Muschietti to deliver something huge here.

Check out Gadot's video (it's better than the "Imagine" one) below:

But tbh apart from the Supergirl/Batgirl thing and having a 70 year old Michael Keaton staying as Batman, I didn't really have a problem with what the leaks were saying (if they are true ofc).

Also for the people asking to bring the Snyderverse back, never forget that his 5-movie-plan for Superman was to end with him getting cucked by Batman (lest we forget).

@Superspecialawesomeguy - So apart from little things like a 70 year old Batman, Supergirl, Batgirl and various Snyderverse hanger-ons forming a Justice League in one scene.

Sure. You dare complain about an older Batman who's already been operating for 20 years but still has no Bat-family?
Well, after the Flashpoint you'll get an even older Batman who has already been operating for over 30 years and is just now getting a Batgirl.

You dare complain about how we rushed into Justice League in the space of two movies, instead of building up to it properly via solo movies?
Well, after Flashpoint, we're gonna rush to a fully assembled Justice League in the space of one scene at the end of the movie!

Immediately after we establish a new clean slate universe we are gonna swiftly and surely flush it all down the toilet so fast it'd make Zaddy Snyder cringe!

And all of you suckers who dared to complain about no Green Lantern in the 2017 movie or it's 2021 director's cut?
Just wait until you see the post-Flashpoint line-up. Black Adam, Shazam, Batgirl, Supergirl, Old Man Bruce from Batman Beyond and the Wonder Woman from that horrible mess of a turd that came out last year. Oh and Ezra Miller of course.

Enjoy!!!

So sure, apart from all that, I don't have much of a problem with this move either.

It doesn't really feel like a reboot if they can only a couple of movies a replace one old Batman with an even older Batman and leave an one of the best known characters in popular culture out (one the actor even has expressed interest in returning to).

Anyway, I kinda hope this movie ends with Barry sacrificing himself, paving the way for Wally to appear so we can have a Young Justice movie with Kid Flash, Blue Beetle, Batgirl, Supergirl, Static and Shazam.

I'm done for a reboot, but Ezra Miller needs to be rebooted out of existence too.

If Henry Cavill is done being Superman, I'd like Ezra Miller to be done with Flash, because it makes no sense to keep the one actor that is awful and get rid of the one actor, that is great.

@BlackIceJoe - I wish they would, but that will probably not happen. The best they could do imo is introduce Wally West as Flash alongside Ezra.

@BlackIceJoe - Let's not forget that Harley Quinn has starred in 3 flops yet they're still giving her films.

Im still upset this isn’t a closer Flashpoint adaptation. Seeing the Amazon/Atlantean War would have been the coolest shit ever.

@Ha1frican - that and seeing Jeffrey dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne version of Batman would have been sweet and Lauren Cohen as Joker... That would have been perfect

@Gizmoduck - Agreed but I left that out bc its clear anything Snyder or Batfleck related isnt continuing past this movie. Wonder Woman and Aquaman are so it really doesnt makes sense why they wouldnt include that. PLus the world ending because of them would definitively cap off the Burtonverse in its own way before merging whatever elements they wanted into the main continuity after

Big spoiler , if you want to read on and obviously if you want to take it with a pinch of salt and believe what you want … I bumped into a friend recently who worked near the studios over the summer and they mentioned they saw a few JL members around the WB set . One was Diana Prince in costume and the other was Jason Momoa but he was only visiting the set as Aquaman 2 was filming at the same studio.

If it has Gal Gadot/Wonder Woman in it, I'm there. First day. That being said, I am not looking forward to this DCEU reboot. At all.

Their solo stuff is hit and miss but more hit than miss compared to their ensembles. Their solo Batman stuff is their best bet, including joker. That one needs no sequel. I’m still gonna watch what comes out that’s just me, but I ain’t hopeful for most of it.

Should have just recast Ben Affleck and moved on, soft rebooting the universe won't make people forget about BvS. TSC put superman where he should be smh, who can now go on to have the hopefully movies everyone is after.

WB are holding DC comics hostage!!

Yeah all I can say is I hope the rumor is not true but knowing knee jerk reaction WB it seems likely these are the same guys who are still hesitating doing a Green Lantern movie 11 years after the fact which they were gonna reboot anyway and yet more Harley Quinn.

JL 2021 was the best CBM of 2021 imo. the previous are less to be desired but i don't think a hard reboot is needed. some recasting can be better though

If she was smart, she'd stay the hell away from this movie, it's gonna bomb.
