We're just one week away from The Flash's first screening at CinemaCon, and after James Gunn and even Tom Cruise have hyped up the Scarlet Speedster's first big screen solo outing, Warner Bros. will be hoping for very positive reactions from critics.
It's unclear how they plan on avoiding spoilers doing the rounds in the months ahead, but it seems likely that's less important than generating some much-needed buzz around a movie with such a controversial lead. You can actually take a closer look at Ezra Miller suited up as the Fastest Man Alive in some cool new promo art and photos which have started doing the rounds online today.
Also below are new looks at Michael Keaton's Batman - he still looks great in that costume - and Sasha Calle as the DCEU's Supergirl.
While DC Studios is developing a Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow movie, it's unclear whether Calle will be given the chance to reprise the role. As for Keaton, he had been lined up for Batgirl, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and even Batman Beyond, but this is now expected to be a one-and-done return.
Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to.
That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian...albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
The movie stars Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton.
The Flash races into theaters on June 16.
