The CW have released the first official stills from The Flash's midseason finale, and as you may have already guessed from the title, it's set to feature the small screen debut of Reverse-Flash. Unfortunately, he's not featured here, but Barry Allen is looking pretty beaten up...

BARRY COMES FACE-TO-FACE WITH THE MAN IN THE YELLOW SUIT/AMANDA PAYS RETURNS TO THE FLASH — Barry (Grant Gustin) finds himself face-to-face with his nemesis, the man in the yellow suit, a.k.a. Reverse Flash, who killed his mother. Barry is frustrated when the Reverse Flash escapes, but Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) come up with a plan to trap him. All they need is bait, so they turn to Dr. Tina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays) from Mercury Labs to help. Meanwhile, it’s Christmas at The West household and Iris (Candice Patton) is in full holiday cheer. Eddie (Rick Cosnett) gives her a surprising gift but also leaves her with a question that could change her life. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) joins the search for the man in yellow and ends up in the crossfire. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) finds Ronnie (Robbie Amell). Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written by Todd Helbing & Aaron Helbing (#109).

I still love this suit! hoping he eventually gets a white insignia and yellow boots, other then that I think its pretty awesomer :)

The suit is growing on me. Didn't think about the prospect of yellow boots. That would be a nice enhancement.

Reverse flash is Ezra miller he kills barry and become the flash for the movie

Here is a shot in the dark but I think Wells is Jay Garrick....he cares a lot about Barry and Flash existing and his well being....this could be a dark interpretation of the character but since were getting Reverse Flash next week and that's not Wells this character could be him....especially with the episode talking about how he lost his wife this could be a hardened version of Garrick

the episode where he thought he lost Flash and a world without flash he may need Barry to get back to his own time to get back to his wife before she was killed....again just a shot in the dark

@Nomis think about everything we have seen thus far....there have been two scenes showing time travel from Barry and Reverse flash mind you there teasers but there there.....Wells has the ability to walk and hes clearly hardened from loss and he is very encouraging in Barry pushing his powers to the limit...there have been a few episodes to where it appears he knows what Barry can do...hes very protective of Barry as well almost like a father...that isn't Reverse Flash....and honestly the character Thawne is psychotic enough to go back and try and marry Iris before Barry does....just saying

Yea but we have no idea what hes been through to get to that point and if this is his one shot to get back to his time and his wife you would be surprised what someone will do...especially if he thinks Barry can alter the timeline....the ends would justify the means because all of his actions would never have happened in a sense with barry fixing everything
