After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.

Starring Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Rick Cosnett, and John Wesley Shipp, The Flash is directed by David Nutter from Geoff Johns' script. With production blasting off next week, the Arrow spin-off will premiere this Fall.

The dialogue delivery is...bleh. But everything else is really cool, even the effects are well done for a TV budget.

This looks terrible, just as I expected it to be. Young actors and poor CGI. I barely made it through the first episode of Arrow, will not bother with this. That's why I don't like superhero TV shows like Arrow, AoS and this. Don't want to sound like a hater, it is just my opinion.

I actually think Grant Gustin's acting is fine, but the rest of the cast will need to step up.

@venom0706 Wait a minute...Maybe I'm reading you're comment wrong, but you only watched the FIRST episode of Arrow? No series should be judged by it's first episode, just like no book should be judged by the first chapter!

Grant looks fine, but everyone else looks its their first day acting. The villain looks god damn ridiculous, especially his constipated scream at the end.

The effects are damn impressive for a CW show, I'll give them that.
