Warner Bros. Reportedly Isn't Too Concerned About THE FLASH Star Ezra Miller's Latest Arrest

Despite a lot of troubling headlines surrounding The Flash star Ezra Miller, it sounds like Warner Bros. isn't sweating the negative headlines, and is forging ahead with the movie for its 20203 release.

Ezra Miller has always been somthing of a controversial figure, but that's been taken to another level in recent weeks after multiple arrests for alleged assaults and even a restraining order. We're not sure what's going on with The Flash star, but after reportedly throwing a chair at the head of a 26-year-old woman, it's hard to imagine them having much of a future in Hollywood.

Miller was absent from the Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore premiere, while those of you who have seen that movie will know his character's story has reached an abrupt end. This was a surprising development for fans, particularly as it appeared he would take centre stage across all five movies.

There's a lot of speculation surrounding whether Miller will keep their role in The Flash, but seeing as shooting has finished, it would be a nigh on impossible task for Warner Bros. to replace him. Instead, it sounds like the studio is hoping this all blows over and that the actor will keep their head down.

According to Deadline, they've "heard that Warner Bros.’ brass haven’t been sweating the Miller headlines: he’s not committed to appear in any more Fantastic Beasts movies, and The Flash doesn’t come out in theaters until next summer, on June 23, 2023. The pic is currently in post at the time, there are no plans to reschedule the film or move it to HBO Max."

It's hard not to notice an odd double standard at Warner Bros. While Johnny Depp has been ousted from his role in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, Amber Heard will return for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and, as of right now, Miller is clearly going to remain the DCEU's Scarlet Speedster.

Do you still want to watch The Flash with Miller as Barry Allen?
