Just seeing Malekith and Kurse again, really wished they would have kept A LOT more of them and their backstory and why they wanted to put the universe in darkness, etc...If there is a director's cut someday, bet the movie would be much better than it was, and I really loved it anyways...

@ DrDoom

You are getting confused with the Blooper Reel from IM3, Thor 2 was pretty solid.

@nik - between rumors and Alan Taylor's videos, I think Marvel cut the shit outta this movie, you could tell in his tone and he did say there was more Malekith etc, but it was cut...

I do understand the movie run-time issue, after all, it's about the mighty dollar, and movies longer than 2:30 hours [frick] up the movie house schedules...they can't play as many times in a day...I was hoping for 2:30-2:40 for Thor 2...

I find it funny in itself how people keep saying every Marvel movie is a comedy, if you took the total run-time of all the 'comedic-bits' in each movie, say, Thor 2 for example, I bet it was under 5 minutes or even less...think it's beating a dead horse...
