Marvel's "Thor: The Dark World" continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel's "Thor" and "Marvel's The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Agreed. MOS was the best CBM this year to me.

Thor 2 was a serviceable outing, which bordered on boring at times and felt completely unnecessary. Some of the comedy felt forced (you could tell it was added later) and there just seemed to be nothing really compelling about the film. It's not even as good as the first, and that one was simply 'okay'.

It's a 5 or a 6 for me too.

That TROY scene is bananas. I remember showing the DVD to a friend for the first time. When I first saw the pic of Hemsworth as THOR, and an article about how they spoke, I thought the film was going to be serious and in the same style as TROY. It wasn't, but Branagh's film is still my favorite. THOR, The Incredible HULK and Iron Man. My top MCU dogs.
