BTW, thanks for the heads up, MarkJulian (even though it was probably an automated e-mail).

I was wondering WTF was going on with my article that disappeared from my account before it even had the chance to appear on the News tab.

Even if I didn't manage to bring this scoop first, I kinda feel good for almost doing it.

What was Marvel thinking bringing in Brian Tyler? Djawada or Doyle would have been perfect. Shore as well.

Does anyone else remember the people complaining about this fight when they released this clip back in 2011?

I remember a lot of people thinking it was tame and lame. Hell, I thought it was kinda lame, but in the film proper it worked.

I think we should give it a chance.

Volstagg DOES look better in this quick glimpse. He was the weakest link in the first film because it was such a terrible miscast. But if they've DE-jollified him into a more straight up warrior without the fake gut, I won't mind that too much. Long as it works better than the first films portrayal.

Under $100M opening = $280M total domestic Box Office.

$100M opening = $290M

$110 and above = $310 and above

There is great excitment for this film and another Marvel (Avenger related film). If it has good to really good reviews, which I think it will, it'll have a big opening and top out at $310.

Things that will help- enders game tanks (bad reviews and same ol stuff), hobbit and new games flick get modest to bad reviews).

Okay so I'm not the only one who thought this felt pretty lackluster. The score is just not there its just way too uppity and happy. I've had an uneasy feeling about this movie for a while. This clip has a couple problems:
-The music is not that good; I've had a gut feeling for a while Brian Tyler would be a bad pick for Thor.
-The fighting is almost like the filmmakers forgot the Asgardians are a race of GOD-LIKE SUPER BEINGS; The fighting doesn't reflect that AT ALL.
Now I'm starting to sound butthurt because after all its only a 45 second clip.
