Samuel L. Jackson on Thor: "Nobody's told me anything!"

Even though his name is on the Thor cast list, it seems SLJ has no idea what is going on!

Here is the video from MTV:

"Nobody's told me anything," Jackson laughed when asked about the "Thor" role. "I was reading the trades last week and I saw the cast list. My name was in it, so maybe I am doing something that I don't know about and I'll hear about it soon."

"I don't know what's going on," he said. "Since Disney's bought the franchise, I have no idea what Marvel told them or even if my deal with Marvel is still valid."

"It all depends on where they find him," he said. "If they're dealing with that particular timeline... Hey, they're shooting it in Santa Fe, it's not like they're shooting it in Norway."

Well, this is weird news to me, I thought they would have told him.

Thanks to MTV for the info.

@Ozymandias Great Find

I think this pretty much confirms that he won't be in the film, but maybe after the credits. To tell you the truth, I'd prefer that. I guess that is why they brought Agent Coulson in: To go the same route as the first Iron Man film.

Very Exciting

I can't help but think that Jackson knows or is involved more than what he is letting on. How could he of not heard anything at all from Marvel about whether or not his 9 PICTURE DEAL is still valid? That's a little hard to believe.

Sam Jack doesn't know any movie he's in. He doesn't read scripts. He doesn't prepare. HE just shows up! His agent just gets calls and says, "How Much?" and they agree to it...doesn't matter how much they're offering the agent just wants to know up front.
This is why Sam Jack is the movie whore of the world and is also why he's my favorite actor of all time.
