The thing I like about all these items is that they actually LOOK like they could hold untold amounts of power. Kudos to the props team.

So... I got bored, and translated (somewhat) the rune writing behind each of the things... it may lead to some better insight on the mystery items' identity.

First picture has no visible runes, but it's the Warlock's Eye.

Second Picture's obviously the Infinity Gauntlet, but it looks like it was just posed for the picture, because it's clearly right in front of the same runes as the next picture.

The next picture says, quite puzzlingly, "Tuningfork." The only tuning forks I can think of in the Marvel universe belong to Lockjaw and Blackbolt (but neither look anything like that). Any ideas?

After that, there's the Eternal Flame of Destruction, which, appropriately, sits in front of runes which translate to "Eternal Flame."

Finally, this last one gave me a headache. No runes behind it, but plenty of runes on its surface. So far as I could see (they're not very clear the farther down you go), translate to "Thorswhorit#abowe##nrhadow", with the "#" representing unclear symbols.

Or, possibly, "Thor's whorit# above ##n shadow" (granting that possibly, "W" could also translate to "V".)

Awesome! The one looks nothing like the Eye or Orb of Agamotto.

Cool pix. "Thor" is awesome, fun movie. Saw it 2x's and recommend it to anyone who enjoys summer popcorn blockbuster-type flix. Ignore bozo critics (mega-diehard geeks included) who've over-analyzed every reel of this film, compare it to other similar genre movies, and/or simply "don't get it" because they're out of the loop expecting Hamlet or Shakespeare. "Thor" is everything a cool superhero/sci-fi/action movie should be. It delivers on all fronts...don't miss it on the big screen.

@CaptainAmerica-- Holy Crap, that's it! Has to be... but, what does that make the tablet? Something that absorbs and channels Ragnarok energy?

Any ideas on the tuning fork?

Not sure lol I really hope they are in the film for a reason though :) would love to see what it does. Hopefully "Those Who Sit Above In Shadow" will be in the next film. How the hell did you translate in anyway? :)

@CaptainAmerica-- Merriam-Webster dictionaries have a table under their definition of "Runes" that shows which runes roughly stand for which letters... Also, I was really, really bored.
