THOR: THE DARK WORLD: Clearer Look At Previous Stills; Actor Playing 'BOR' Revealed?

It seems we'll get a flashback with Odin's father, Bor, in Thor: The Dark World given that a Scottish actor has possibly revealed he'll play The Architect of Asgard in the Marvel sequel. Check it out!

As Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor has declared on several occasions, Malekith's quarrel in the film goes back 5,000 years; back when Thor's grandfather, Bor, was the Lord of Asgard. With that said, it's not too surprising that we'll get a flashback with Bor and the Accursed Dark Elf villain at some point during the Marvel sequel. This is according to Scottish actor Tony Curran (Gladiator, Underworld: Evolution), who took to his Twitter account to all but confirm the casting. Also, with Odin's father being considered The Architect of Asgard in the comics, Alan Taylor has revealed that the dungeon-like prison in which Loki's seen captive was built by Bor. Anyhow, check out some stills previously seen in the Thor: The Dark World calendar courtesy of @ThorFilms. What do you think?

Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. It opens in theaters November 8, 2013.

Hey it's Bor!!! Awesome.

I'm starting to think by looking at Thor wearing a black shirt that he's going to be human at the end of the film.

He also showed up as one of his most mundane roles in the Mentalist, but was still awesome.
