Hilarious New THOR: RAGNAROK Deleted/Extended Scenes Feature Much More Of Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster

Some more bonus content from the Thor: Ragnarok Blu-ray release has found its way online, and it's fair to say that these scenes earn 10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums on the Goldblum scale...

Another couple of extended scenes from the home release of Thor: Ragnarok are now online, and once again, Jeff Goldblum's wildly eccentric Grandmaster is the focus.

THOR: RAGNAROK: Ranking The 11 Main Characters From Least To Most Memorable - SPOILERS Ahead

The first clip features the ruler of Sakaar getting agitated by some type of alien bats swarming around as he makes The God of Thunder's acquaintance, and in the second, he hilariously tries to make Topaz guess the universal gesture for "check, please."

As great as these sequences are, it's easy to see why they were cut as they don't serve the story in any way. Still, we feel there's definitely some demand for a Grandmaster Cut of Thor: Ragnarok.

In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his home world and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela (Cate Blanchett). But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) – and grapple with his silver-tongued adopted brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), the fierce warrior Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and the eccentric Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum).

Thor: Ragnarok be available on Digital HD from February 20, followed by a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on March 6.

These bits weren’t worth including in the film, but man... that set must have been fun with the director letting them improvise like that.

@Chewtoy - Agreed, but man they are still funny. What a blast of a time this movie was.

"HILARIOUS" is the one word you can describe the whole MCU with. Its not a bad way to describe it but when you think about it, its not exactly the best complement either.

Before people start running after me with pitchforks and torches, just remember almost every single "review" of all the MCU movies have that word in it. So, I am not wrong!

@Tighelander - THere was no time to mourn, also you forget him preparing to fight loki, and commiting rights to him when he is prison as soon as he can.

SIGH.....is it so hard to have a LOTR themed Thor film? Can someone hand over a blank check to Del Toro or Peter Jackson to helm Odinson...

@newmutantsRETURNS - I think the space part of the first thor came the closest to that, but gotta admit this Ragnarok direction was very enjoyable too

@MalseMarcel - Yes The 1st film touched upon it and it was GREAT, once Thor got to earth, it went downhill from there lol

@newmutantsRETURNS - In my opinion, all of thor's earth stuff was pretty boring. Even in both Avengers movies
